Impelled :: Healing Through Dialogue

From poem #251 - I try to move the reader even more and set out to heal through dialogue and words

271 This Man's Best Friend

Incomplete poem about my best friend and his wish to be reborn a puppy.

Rhyme Scheme: Consecutive

Incorrigible you are, but your love shines forth
A puppy you will be, filling our hearts with mirth
Best friend you've been for a good many years
I look forward to seeing you again with floppy ears

I love you kanna from the very bottom of my heart
Come back and show us the way to find peace on Earth
I remember the fun we had and now you've turned 70
Think of our Lord as you pray for bliss unto eternity

You've mentored generations in your own sweet way
I remember the music and us dancing with a gentle sway
Thick as thieves from the start we have plenty of good memories
You helped me appreciate beautiful people such as these
